Dr. Leanne Mellbye entered the animal care field in equine research. She enjoyed the medical side of the work which led to the decision to attend vet school. In 1992, after graduating from Oregon State University, she moved to Carlton, joined the practice, and has loved.

Encore Home Furnishings

In February of 2019 Sam and Nikki Elliott, owners of Encore Home Furnishings, came to First Federal seeking a Commercial Loan to build a new structure on their existing land. During the loan process, they worked with Commercial Relationship Manager, Tony Journey and his expert team.

Homeward Bound Pets

Founded in 1975 as Oregon’s first no-kill shelter, Homeward Bound Pets has seen a great deal of change in their business. Not only have they expanded their services, but their customer base has evolved too.

Juliette's House

Juliette's House opened their doors in June of 1997. It was a grass roots effort that brought together a number of business people, teachers, school counselors, and law enforcement after recognizing that a child disclosing abuse or neglect was forced to go to the hospital, then the police department, and then to child protective services. Each time that child told their story they were traumatized over and over again.
